Czech Business Today is this time devoted to labor law from both, Czech national as well as European perspective.
We interviewed Mr. Petr Nečas, Minister of Labor and Social Affairs of the Czech Republic about the need of modernization of European labor law. The Minister criticizes, in accordance with Czech employers, the new Czech Labor Code, which was endorsed by the previous government and entered in force in January 2007. Next, you can find the positions of Czech businesses regarding the new Labor Code. The Confederation of Industry of the Czech Republic took a position on the Green Paper on Modernization of Labor Law.
